Today's economic climate and political realities require most public park and recreation departments to seek productive and meaningful partnerships with both community organizations and individuals to deliver quality and seamless services to their residents. These relationships should be mutually beneficial to each party to better meet overall community needs and expand the positive impact of the department's mission.
This program is designed to encourage the community to take a hands-on approach to help keep the county's parks and trails clean, safe and attractive for residents and visitors through debris pick-up and beautification activities. The program offers the opportunity for people to get more involved in their community in a way that promotes civic pride, appreciation, awareness and quality of life.
