A critical component to the planning process of this capacity is gathering public and stakeholder input to inform the development of a plan. HTK Architects was contracted to provide their team and services for the development of a master plan for Family Park. Their team includes Landworks Studio from Olathe and Cook Flatt & Strobel Engineers from Topeka.
The design team and SCP+R staff conversations have focused on effective community engagement during COVID-19 that will include both digital and ‘pop-up’ community engagement activities. Please take a moment and take the public survey we are seeking feedback on amenities and ideas of features people would like to see in this park. We welcome residents and visitors of all ages to become involved in this exciting opportunity of engagement about the future of Family Park!
