Overview

Warren Nature Area, located just east of Felker Park north of the Shunga Trail, has approximately four miles of trails. This wetland area shows how nature cleans runoff water and keeps silt from entering large streams. There are native grass areas, stream-side settings, and woodlands along the Shunga Creek. This area is the top spot in the Topeka park system for viewing birds and insects. The Warren Nature Trails are designated on map kiosks at several trailhead locations.
