Campground Reservation Information: 


All visitors and campers entering the campground must register at the entrance booth and display a current camper or visitor tag.

Campground office staffed daily Mid April-Oct 1. Hours: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. 

Campsite reservations available for arrival May 15 - Sept. 15- In Person on 4/18/18, by phone on 4/19/18

First come, first serve for sites available Sept.16 - May 14; Self pay lock box located at Campground entrance. 

Quiet Hours year around, 10 p.m. - 7 a.m. 

4th of July Reservations: 

Please note: To facilitate reservations for the Lake Shawnee Campground, we have separated the 4th of July Holiday from regular reservations.


4th of July reservations for 2018:
Monday, April 16, 2018,  at 8 a.m., the campground will be taking reservations only for the 4th of July Holiday. Campers will be required to reserve a site for the entire period, Monday, July 2- thru Thursday, July 5. Walk in reservations will be taken first. We will need your name, address, birth date, license tag on your camping unit and your arrival date. Payment is required for the entire period when reservation is made.

General Reservations:
As of Wednesday, April 18, 2018, walk-in reservations are available for arrival dates of May 15 - Sept. 15. Phone reservations began on April 19, 2018. We will need your name, address, birth date, license tag on your camping unit and your arrival date. A minimum stay of two nights is required. Payment in full is required at time of reservation.  No refunds or transfer dates. 


Tent Camping is only available from April 15 - October 15. The North Bathhouse Restroom closes from October 16 - April 15. Limited sites available, sites 117-119 and 132-141. 

Only RV sites 36 - 56 available October 16, 2018- January 12, 2019 to accommodate special set up for Winter Wonderland holiday event. Sites are first come first serve. Payment made by self-pay envelopes in black drop box, south side of RV Administration Office. 

A natural lake cove at the campground is open between sunrise and sunset and only to registered campers. Persons choosing to use the swimming area, surrounding dock and sidewalk do so at their own risk. No lifeguard is on staff at campground. All children 10 years of age or younger using the swimming area must be supervised by a parent, guardian or responsible companion 18 years of age or older. You may also view our campground map.

NOTE: Refunds will not be issued for unused reservations. Electricity is on to sites year round. Water is turned on to sites April 15 and turned off Oct. 15.

Additional Information
Tents erected with an R.V. in the same site (sites #132 - #141 ONLY) will be charged an additional $6 fee per tent-site per day.

Parking Spaces for boats or trailers is $3/day. Spaces are located at the north end of the RV Park by the bathhouse.  Campground management reserves the right to refuse if there are safety concerns.  Availability not guaranteed.
