Visible from I-70 and Macvicar, Auburndale Park includes copious green space, playground equipment, Ward-Martin Creek and a ball field. The park is popular for rugby and football practices. Cricket is also played in the park. Part of the green space in the park serves as a catchment area during heavy rains, keeping the nearby neighborhood from flooding.
