TDC Learning Centers, Inc. has been providing high quality early education in the Topeka community for over 50 years.  Weekly themes combined with research-based curriculum ensure that children are having fun while learning and being prepared for kindergarten.  Play and positive interaction with teachers and other children support social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Special curriculum components encourage nutrition and physical fitness and our Second Steps curriculum helps teach children empathy and help identify feelings and is recognized as a violence prevention program.  Our program spans all areas of a child's development, offering a well-rounded, high quality learning experience.

Class sizes are small, with a max of 12 children per session. Staff child-ratios are mandated by Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) as part of the licensing process. We believe that licensing is important to the provision of quality child care in the community. Parents are our partners and are encouraged to participate in classroom activities as well as share feedback.

Parent/teacher conferences are held twice each year where you will have the opportunity to help develop your child's Individual Education Plan.  Developmental Assessments are conducted twice each year and children who are kindergarten bound have an additional school readiness assessment.  All assessments are shared with parents and help guide parents and teachers in developing an educational plan for the child.

Children must be 3 years old and fully potty trained to participate.  Four different class times are offered:
 M,W, F Morning: 9am - 11:30am
 M, W, F Afternoon: 1pm-3:30pm
 T, Th Morning: 9am - 11:30am
 T, Th Afternoon: 1pm - 3:30pm

We reserve the right to cancel session if they do not fill.
