Located in the center of Gage Park. Features include a 50-meter pool with 1, 3 and 5-meter diving boards, zero depth entry, four water slides, a bucket feature, shade structures, picnic areas, a party room and more!
General Admission Passes:
- Allows a youth or adult admission into the aquatic center or pool to swim during public hours.
- Available for purchase at any aquatic facility/pool , the Administration Office at Lake Shawnee, or Shawnee North Community Center.
- There is no expiration date and they are not exclusive to a single individual.

Swim Lesson Classes 2026
Dog Swim
Finish the summer season by bringing your 4-legged friends to cool off at the pool.
- Date: August 4th
- 4-5:25 p.m. – Small dogs 30 pounds or less.
- 5:35-7 p.m. – All size dog swim available for all dogs. No weight or size restriction
For the safety of patrons and dogs
- Ratio of up to 2 dogs to one owner.
- All dogs must be under the control of an owner age 13+.
- All dogs must be under owner’s control at all times.
- Dogs not under the safe control of their owner will be asked to leash their dog or leave the event.
- Dog handlers will be required to sign a waiver prior to admission.
- Patrons are not permitted in water deeper than chest level and cannot submerge head. The water is dirty!
- If you’re dog makes a mess, please clean up after it if possible.
- Dogs are not allowed into the deep ends/dive wells of either pool. Please keep all dogs in permitted areas only.
- Dogs must be vaccinated.
- Dog toys & floaties are welcome.
- This event is a dog swim. No free swimming by people allowed.
Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center's party room is available for rental during public hours. The pool can also be rented afterhours for private parties or events. You can make reservations online by clicking here or by calling 785-251-6900 for assistance.
