Facilities

Hughes Park is known both for having Shawnee County's first accessible playground and for being home to 18 pickleball courts. The accessible playground was replaced in 2021 with brand new playground equipment. Hughes Park features a spacious, covered picnic shelter with picnic tables and a grill. The park also features landscaped green space, a freestanding picnic table on the southwest end, a drinking fountain next to the pickleball courts and a parking lot with a portable restroom on the north end.
