Gage Park
Mini-train at tunnel w engineer waving 300 pixels.jpg

Gage Park is where memories are made, whether it's a ride on the historic mini-train or carousel, a trip to the zoo, playing at Animaland, strolling through the historic Reinisch Rose Garden or swimming at Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center. The park is a favorite location for family gatherings, birthday parties, picnics, weddings or just a day in the park.

One of Topeka's star attractions, the 160-acre park dates back to 1899 when the heirs of Guilford Gage donated 80 acres of land west of Topeka between 6th and 10th Streets. The park is home to a 2-mile fitness loop trail, Helen Hocker Theater, the Kansas Children's Discovery Center and the Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center as well as a war memorial.
